Summer Holidays - Italy
For my summer holidays,🌞 we went to Italy for 10 Days.
The flight 🛫to Rome was KLM. It was ok apart from my ears popping during the flight. When we landed we took a taxi🚕 to our hotel🏨. It was the evening when we got there. We decided to go to the supermarket first. After that we went back to the hotel and had dinner[which was rice🍚 and egg🥚], watched a bit of Tv📺 and went to sleep😴.
The next day we went to the Vatican museum. We walked there because it was quite close to the hotel. When we got there we went inside and got an audio guide and started to look
around. It showed a lot of gods👼😇. After that we had lunch at a restaurant. I had spaghetti🍝 and everyone else had pizza🍕. For dessert we had chocolate🍫gelato🍨. Then we went to the st.peter
museum. It was the same thing except it was pictures🖼. After that we got a bus🚌 back to the hotel. Then we had dinner and went to sleep.
The next day it was our last day in Rome so we went to the Colosseum. We went by train🚆. When we got there we found that the Colosseum was right across the road from the station🚉! We went inside and took lots of photos. Then we went to the balcony and saw things from down below. When we saw everything we went back to the station🚉 and went back to the place we started in. Then we had lunch.
We all had pizza🍕 Funghi🍄 and Margherita🍅. Then we went back to the hotel and stayed there for the rest of the day. The next day we packed all our stuff to go to Florence. We went by train🚆. It took so long that I fell asleep😴.
When we finally arrived in Florence, we walked there since it was also quite close. Since It was not set up yet we just put our stuff🛅 there and went to have lunch. We had lunch at Mc Donalds. We had french fries🍟 and milk shakes🥛. Then, when the hotel was set up, we went back there and spent the rest of the day there. The next day we went on a day trip by bus🚌.
We went to the meeting point and put a green sticker 💚on ourselves so we know we're in a different group. We had breakfast🍞🍫 in the bus since we could not have it in the hotel. We first went to the leaning tower of Pisa. We took lots of photos. We also got a souvenir. Then we went to an old village with the popularity of 1000 people! There we had Gelato. I had chocolate🍫 cookie Icecream🍨! And then we went to a wine🍷 tasting place which was also our lunch stop.
We did not taste the wine🍷 since we don't drink it but we had lunch. For starters we had bread🍞 and salad🥗 and chickpeas. For the main course we had pasta with tomato sauce🍝. For dessert we had apple pie🍎🍰. Then we went to a city called sienna.
We had a tourist guide to show us around. Once we finished✅ we sat down to rest. Then we went back to the bus and went to the hotel, had dinner and went to sleep
The next day we went to Venice. We went there by train 🚆again. Once we got there it was boiling🌞!
Then we got on a tram🚊 and went to the hotel🏨. When we got there we went to a grocery store to buy some food items. After that we went back to the hotel.
The next day was the last day of Italy. We went to a venice Island🏝 called murano.
We went by tram.🚊 We were boiling🌞! For lunch my parents👩👨 had lasagne and me👧 and my sister👧 had pasta🍝. Then we went on a boat🚤 trip. After that we went back to the hotel🏨.
The next day we went to the airport and went on the KLM flight 🛫 back home🏡.

Summer Holidays 2017 - Germany & Swiss Trip Experience
For the summer vacation we had planned to go to Germany and Switzerland for four days. We went on a Double Decker bus which was orange and had the word twin tours on it.My family sat on the top floor.
On the first day we took forever to get past the border between Germany and the Netherlands! [OK not like a whole year but you get the picture] Then we made a stop for breakfast. Since all of the people except the driver were Indians, we had an Indian breakfast. We had Idli, Chutney and Vada. I only ate the vada and one idli because I did not get used to the double decker yet.Then we continued our journey. There also was a small Tv at the front and soon it switched on and there came a movie. It was a funny movie. I laughed at the funniest parts.
When the movie finished, I found out that we arrived at the base of the mountain we were supposed to go to and we were climbing up![ the bus was climbing] After a long time we arrived at our destination black forest Germany.It was called the black forest becuase if you looked down at it from a plane it looks like a black spot. there was a souvenir shop and a building and a lake which we could go boating! but we we did not go boating that day. [ no worries we went boating on another day] We first went to the souvenir shop and brought a cuckoo clock , a black forest cake and two things for me and my little sister. one was a Kaiedoscope and the other was a toy Alicorn.
Then we went the restaurant which was in the big building I mentioned. there we brought two coffees for my parents and two donuts for me and my sister. There was chocolate in the donuts.Yum! Then we went to the lake and took a lot of photos.Then we went back to the bus and went to our stop for lunch. Again it was Indian food. The lunch was rice and something to dip the rice in. then we continued our journey.
The driver put some music on. then everyone, well not EVERYONE , did an introduction about themselves. My dad did one of them. Soon we made our stop for dinner. again it was rice with something to dip it in. At that time it was raining. Soon we continued our journey to a hotel to stay for the night. we could only spend one night in that hotel because the next two nights were spent in a hotel in Switzerland and the hotel we stayed in that night was in Germany! I was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. When we got to our room in the hotel, I Immeadiatly sat on the bed.[ ok without my shoes of course] After I changed into my pyjamas, I had more dinner, brushed my teeth, read a book and went to bed.
